528 Indian River w/Bill

Wind was wrong early causing us to abandon NMZ launch.
Ended up going to 528 and catching a few ladyfish and trout.

Memorial Day NMZ

Weather was fantastic, bait was more than plentiful, caught a few trout.
Must have been 50 canoes and kayaks out there, banging around, paddling 20 feet away, cast netting mullet(or trying) right on the sandbar! Every flat blown out by inconsiderate people.

528 Indian River SE w/Bill

We caught a break in the weather and caught some trout.
Lots of bait in shallow, but the only bites came from working a popping cork in 4-5'.

The fishing wasn't great, but Bill caught a few trout and I finally got one trout on the way back to the launch.
The puffers were thick as usual.

Another great day on the water.
I caught a few small trout and Bill caught Ladyfish, Catfish, Puffers and Trout.
A couple of Dolphins almost knocked me out of my kayak.
I threw out a GULP shrimp and layed back for a nap and 30"+ Red woke me up tearing line off my reel. I only had 12# leader and he wore through it.

No fishing yet, still trying to keep the river water out of my stitches.
