West side NMZ Post TS Fay w/Bill

Went in search of snook, but never found them.

We found a school of Jacks first, then ladyfish.

Next we found Tarpon and the search for snook ended.
Here is my first Tarpon, slipped out of my hands.

I then continued the search for snook, but developed a leak in yak and had to turn back. Had to bail out water twice on the way back. Found the problem when I got back to the launch, the plastic cracked around the seat scupper.

Indian River off 528 with John

Perfect weather morning for kayaking.
Launched of northeast side of 528 with John.
We both had reds spit the hook early, I finally landed one.
As usual, it's about the fishin, not the catchin.

West side NMZ from causeway

Me, Dick and Bill again.
2 reds, 1 jack and a few small ladyfish for me.
Dick caught a catfish and Bill caught a trout.
Another good morning on the water!

Banana River between 528 and KARs

Me, Bill and Dick, launched from 528.
We all got skunked, but had a good day fishing new water.
There were lots of Reds in shallow, just none caught.

Finally back on the water!
Took a short trip with John.
He got a small trout and one pinfish for me.
